The timbers were 850 yrs old, and considering the oil and not so good maintenance over the centuries, it just ignited or the construction co working on it caused it by accident! So sad! I have fond memories…….
A synagogue I used to belong to had a fire in the new construction one evening. It was detected following a series of coincidences that were later determined to be of “divine providence”.
Do you want to bet some screenwriters are furiously writing a horror flick featuring an overly sexy nun defeating the Devil but in doing so, the church was caught in hellfire? Real footage and CGI?

Heard Glenn Beck today talking about that really Muslims set the fire and that it is being hidden. Which sounds ridiculous to me on several counts.

There are a lot of fires that happen during remodeling when tar is heated to repair a roof. That could explain it…
