Yes! By all means let’s get just as simple minded as we possibly can. That’ll show the Great Pumpkin who is the most sincere of all and he is sure to come and save us.

Nobody but a cross between Mother Theresa / Jesus / Gandhi / Dalai Lama / Abraham / Buddha can possibly be pure enough to be America’s administrator-in-chief!

Or here’s a crazy idea — vote for the best person available with the best ideas for Congress to govern with.

So, exactly HOW RICH are the talking airheads on FAUX Noise, if they think being rich is a bad thingOr is it that they only think ANYONE ELSE being rich is bad…except for the current occupant…and we REALLY aren’t sure how rich he REALLY is, now are we?

And sometimes I think the gendered language is accurate…

It does indeed make you think…

That the person who came up with the idea is almost as stupid as the Rocks his wall is built with.

Seems to me the issue is motivation. Getting rich for it’s own sake is pointless and may even be evil depending on how you (try to) go about it. Doing something (that’s worth doing) and incidentally becoming rich is better, even if the “incidentally” took serious effort… as long as the “something” doesn’t get shorted.

Of course, Gotcha Guy starts off on a false premise: “taxing the wealthy at higher levels” does NOT equal “wanting the wealthy to not exist.” But then Gotcha Guy wouldn’t even exist without false premises in which to traffic.

Anyway, we finally got Bernie’s returns, even if there’s some shenanigans going on with them. Still waiting on TheDolt’s. Is Cadet Bone Spurs still insisting we just take his word for it that he’s a wealthy financial genius? ‘Cause his word’s about as solid as a degree from Trump U.

During a period when I had a much better paying job than most of my friends, I thought the difference was unfair. But I thought the proper solution was to pay them more, not to pay me less.

Seems to me that Bernie has a similar attitude.

Yeah, it’s real easy for one rich guy, pretending to be a socialist, to propose using other rich guy’s money to pay for Government programs while retaining his own wealth.

Maybe there’s something in one of the replies, but I’m surprised to not see any reference to the “well yes, but actually no” meme in the comments.
