Seriously, this is a perfect description of my best bud / partner in crime / roommate PJ (RIP, 6/7). I kidded him sometimes that underneath that grumpy “get off my lawn” exterior, he had a heart of pure marshmallow (especially when small animals were involved) – but I wouldn’t tell on him as long as he lived!
