I must step in here to defend the President! He is NOT evil!! At least not like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc. But he IS crude, unintelligent, capricious, narcissistic, vengeful, and many other bad things I can’t think of before I’ve had my coffee. Feel free to add your own to the list.

I disagree with you on one point- he is definitely not unintelligent. He is smart and wily as a fox.

Speaking of all the tragedy Russia had endured, Solzhenitsyn said “Men have forgotten God; that’s why all this has happened.” Appropriate for the last panel.

What’s really sad is so many people WANT to believe such things of the President and care nothing about the truth, just what they want to believe. They are quick to believe the headlines when it reinforces what they want believe and label any opposing voices to be nazis, racists, xenophobes, ad infinitum. I can’t wait to see the personal attacks on me now.

Evil? No. The closest I’ll put use is amoral, to anyone. Evil is just melodramatic absolutes to pigeonhole people. Selfish motives ruthlessly applied in some cases, often gulling those easily led or deceived. Or in the case of the “evil” of, say, Ted Bundy, their brain being very miswired to sociopathy. Can’t be cured and I say put the mad dog to sleep.Trump is the former, fortunately not smart enough and with a few good men he was unaware of who wouldn’t follow through with illegal executive orders.

“If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?” ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

“It’s a pity that stayed Bilbo’s hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends.” ― Gandalf to Frodo

Just because a famous writer said something doesn’t make it right or true. People CAN be evil, so can nations, and I’m on the fence about Trump – is he smart enough to be considered evil, or sane enough? His actions are frequently evil, certainly.

Come on,you Trump haters…If many of us could tolerate Obama for eight years, you can stand Trump for the next six years. He was elected before and will again. Get over it!

Individual 1 just manages to personify evil way better than the rest of us.

Nah, Trump isn’t evil, just insane. It’s McConnell who’s evil.

If you want to see true evil read 3 book collection. The Gulag Archipelago. It is a very tough slog. The man has sentences that run to 1/3 of a page, but the content is stunning. Makes the Nazis look like pikers. Stalin and those who followed him kept the camps running for nearly 50 years.
