They sure did it to taxes this year. They cut my refund on Federal, and increased the amount I had to pay to State. It cost me an extra $300 on the same pension amount.
Politicians can always rely on good old war to make death more painful, though the high cost of health care is progressing nicely. Oh, I almost forgot pollution and climate change.Giving it more thought, maybe politicians CAN make death more painful.
In Canada we are mostly done with paper. With the proliferation of capable devices, sitting down with a pen is mostly gone. The system already has copies of our T slips and refunds are usually within a week. A friend owns a farm, a revenue property and is a long haul trucker. In his case a box goes to the accountant.
