You have to remember that there are 2 creation stories in Genesis. The first, Chapter 1 – 2:1-4 (the one I like) God creates heaven, earth, animal, plants & on the 6th day he creates male & female then rest on the 7th day. Genesis chapter 2 you have the Adam & Eve Story.
