Frank wanted the position but hammer was afraid of throwing a wrench in the works. Hammer should have picked the guy on the other side of Ernie, he’s all right.
There’s already a monkey wrench in the works. Now he can get down to the nuts and bolts of the campaign. The one things missing are a spirit level to keep him on an even plane and a box cutter to trim the rough edges.
Once they hammer out the details and pencil gets the lead out, it will be time to rock the vote. (I’m just glad there is no sickle, this could have gone a whole different direction.)
I have a couple of guesses as to what that little guy on the far left is (with the pocket clip). Maybe a tire pressure gauge or a perhaps a battery tester…
