Chazz: I was trying to win you over to Poncho with food, and I forgot I promised him cocktail weenies. Carmen: Oh. Carmen: Well, um… Can I pick the raisins out of the coleslaw for you? Poncho: Strike two! Chazz: No, Poncho, that counts as the same strike!

Sorry, pltrgyst, but Mr Gilligan (2 “L”s) is correct. Chazz wasn’t trying to change her mind about Poncho, but the other way around: he was trying to win her over to Poncho.
And, two more strikes: one for the raisins in the cole slaw, and one for offering cole slaw to a dog in the first place!
