Beatrix toe beans and stubby tail are too cute. I didn’t realize there would be judging for this contest. Style points from the Robber Mice seem to indicate this is more than a simple race to the top!

My poly, gets those extra claws into climbing then, stalls,, her extra claw between thumb and main paw can’t retract, therefore she is “hung up” and I have to unhook her.

Unfair to the adult cats! Kittens weigh next to nothing, and all those little claws are sharp. They can climb anything at top speed!

Hello all. I am in need of help! I have a large female cat, Hazel, (she is my avatar!) who is too big for any litterbox I can find. She isn’t fat- but just big. She is almost 3 ft long! I was using a high sided box, but on the sloped sides, she could pee over them. She does not always squat- so I found the Nature’s miracle covered high side corner boxes. They work better in the sense that if she stands, she at least will get the cover. Now, it appears that she turned around and went out the front of the box, which is the only low spot. I woke up to a puddle outside of the box. Does anyone know of a cat box that is higher than 10 inches and doesn’t have an extremely low opening? I know many will have great ideas for me!

Wonderful news, beloved orbsters! Sis has a beautiful little golden tabby boy!

An elderly gentleman had to go into nursing care & he wanted his beloved little companion to have a good home. Sis had been applying to the Great Cat for nearly a year for a little one. Many leads fizzled out. But all things worked out & Tommy Junior has joined our family!

Named for our BCN Tommy, the nicest kitty ever, little TJ, as he will be called, came a-running to Sis the minute she walked into the old gentleman’s home. TJ is a lover extarordinaire, just like his namesake!

Though he’s a short hair, he has a lush & fluffy white bib & little white socks on his toesies. The rest is classic golden tabby, with fur that feels like mink!

I will be meeting my little nephew next week, and so look forward to it! Presently, TJ is exploring his new abode, being very careful to note every little thing. Sis will forego Easter activities to give him as such attention as possible. As she still works, she wants him to get plenty of one-on-one bonding, although it seems he’s already delighted with his new mommy.

He was used to being with his daddy all day. We’re hoping he’ll be able to handle being alone at times. Sis hopes to go into partial retirement this autumn, so he’ll get more attention, which a sweet little guy like TJ deserves.

He has a nice bird-watching perch, as well as plenty of windows with perches or wide sills. He won’t lack for toys, and as Sis has a recurring mouse problem, she’s hoping TJ will find a way to keep the critters from bothering her pantry. He has plenty to occupy his time!

We’re just thrilled! Had to share with our BCN Mega Orb family!!! ♥♥♥

    Love, >^.,.^<

Okay people! We need to get the name of the watching adult female cat straight!! She’s been called Tabitha, Natasha (or was that a robber mouse?), and Agnes!

The kitten tail thing is what made Lily unusual as a kitten. I actually saw Artie look at her, over at her tail sticking out from behind something beside her, and back at her. Even as a baby her tail was of a very impressive length! Then again, since Artie lost half of his tail before I found him at about 5 weeks old (end was scabbed over) and his Tante (Gerri, my older cat at the time) had a thick plume of a tail, he’d never seen anybody with a long, slender tail.

Obviously no one here has extra long nails to get snagged on things. Last night I had to cut nails on 2 babies because they were almost permanently attached to my shirt. Go baby Bea.

Hi folks, Would appreciate everyone’s prayers and positive vibes to help us with our sweet little female cat Yukon who has a serious hip problem. We’ve had to cancel two attempts to get her into the vet so far because she’s always been extremely high strung, and the usual tricks and techniques with the carrier that have worked well enough with our many previous rescues aren’t working very well with her. Thanks and God Bless!

I had a large female once who would not enter her carrier for vet trips. My vet gave me a kitty tranquilizer to crumble into canned food. Worked like a charm. She never knew she was put into carrier, went to vet, and travelled back home.
