    I LUV having old folk/fairy tales retold with a new twist or perspective. Anybody here familiar with “The Three Ninja Pigs”? “The Rough-Face Girl”?

    Am currently “revisiting” “The Hobbit” (1937), “The Hero with a Thousand Faces” (1948), and “The Uses of Enchantment” (1975). They all still have some interesting points to make, but they are all definitely historical artifacts. Amazin’, ain’t it, how a lifetime of reading and experience can change your viewpoint. . . ;)
