You know, like getting more votes than the other person despite having Russia interfere with the election in favor of Trump, even if he didn’t collude despite several top people in his team being convicted.
Sure, after correcting gerrymandered districts, making voting more accessible rather than blocking certain segments of the population, and getting rid of Citizens United.
The Russians love Democracy. It’s so easy to subvert.
People who vote have no power, People who count votes have all of the power. Just Ask Brian Kemp, George W Bush, George Wallace and now of course Trump who became president with -2.5 million votes.
By the Way if you think the Russians didn’t change hack machines and change vote totals in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania you are crazy. That is why the republicans love electronic voting machines without paper back ups.
That would be nice. Of course in order to do it well we would need some reforms in how elections are run… and who’s allowed to influence our voting decisions.
Really? That’s strange I never heard anybody suggest an illegal method of getting rid of Dotard. Impeachment is in the Constitution. The 25th Amendment is obviously in the Constitution. And defeating Trump in the election is also Constitutional.
So, where’re these undemocratic methods of dumping the jerk-in-chief?
A basic rule of democracy: One person, one vote. If these votes are transformed into differently valuating other amounts of votes, this principle is violated. Trump wasn’t elected by a majority of voters. This remains a fact. He is not the president of the people. He is the president who happened to be lucky that a distortion in the system worked for him instead of for his adversary. It’s like you would not only count the votes, but additionally bring in votes by the result of some dice roll.
