U.S. Posts The Biggest Monthly Budget Deficit In American History

Trump railed against debt during his campaign, vowed to balance budget.

February’s federal budget deficit was the largest on record, according to figures released by the Treasury Department on Friday. President Donald Trump promised during his campaign that he would balance the budget in eight years.

The total debt surpassed $22 trillion for the first time ever in February — $2 trillion higher than when Trump took office.

There is the problem of double jeopardy that is being argued by Manafort’s lawyers in the NY courts, hoping that a presidential pardon on federal convictions would cover state also. After 150 years of decided law, it has come up in the Supreme Court too. If the law is changed, and it could with a conservative court now wanting to change it, those indictments made by Mueller could be a “get out of jail free card” with any pardon. If Mueller doesn’t indict, then any indictments made by the states can not be overturned by presidential pardon.
