To all fans of Star Trek lore: was it ever established as canon that a Warp Factor was a multiple of the speed of light? I.e. that “warp 5” meant 5c? Or is a Warp Factor a measurement how much warping of the fabric of space-time is being achieved at a given power setting without necessarily being related to c?
