Some people confuse pessimism with observation. They are relentlessly positive to the avoidance of real observation. My mother was like that. But then so are most humans.
Cancer you have is aggressive in your reproductive parts.
Full treatment makes you wish you were dead but survive.
(Most would rather die faster than suffer through the treatment we are told.)
3 weeks later find aggressive cancer in the liver that the previous treatments didn’t affect at all while other cancers were given toxic therapy.
Forgo any more treatment and die in a hospice in 2 months.
So who was an optimist here? The pessimist? Does it apply?

The negativist’s mind is in a dark place. Or is that a darkroom?

Bwahahahha. That is brilliant. A total role reversal between pessimist & optimist. :D
Pessimist: The glass is half empty.
Optimist: The glass is half full.
Matrix fan: There is no glass.

Don’t be Negative. Let’s see what develops. Some day your Prints may come.

The optimist believes this is the best of all possible worlds; the pessimist fears that it is so.
