I’m sure most of the comments today are going to be about the trash talk, but what I see about this strip is Figaro signing for Lupin’s benefit, despite the subtitles! AAAAAAA! I love it when they sign to Lupin. Just so much. ASL isn’t something we see in comics much, and it’s always great when that’s included.

Also, our cat, Berlioz, has been stuck inside for about a month now. We’ve talked with a contractor about fixing the fence, and we have plans, but nothing major has happened so far. Meanwhile, Berlioz is getting discouraged. At least he got a new scratcher for his birthday yesterday.
…i’ll put my money on Elvis…Tabitha may be an Alpha cat, but Elvis has never yet gotten SCREECHY angry that I recall – and Siamese can be out and out TERRIFYING when they get angry…
Off subject. I had to put one of my inside kitties to sleep yesterday. He was old, but I don’t know how old. Maybe 15 or more? His name was Rudy Tobias. Originally, it is my belief that he lived in another house across alley as he was neutered and declawed. He would occasionally come over to my back yard and snack on the food I put out for my ferals. Then after a couple years, he just stayed. I have a feeling his people abandoned him so he had to come live with me for food. He bacame one of my outside cats for years and years. I already had too many inside cats to bring him in. At this point, I was unaware that he was declawed. A little more than a year ago, I was able to bring him inside, not only because I now had room, but also because he was losing all of his fur and was getting very skinny. No way could he go thru winter (even winter in Phoenix) without any fur. He LOVED getting to be a house kitty again. I took him to the vet and spent tons of $ getting his mouth back to health. He had so many really bad teeth. No wonder he was getting so skinny, his mouth hurt so bad! I also found that he was having liver issues. I did what I could for him, and got him healthy. I thought he was going to cross over last Thanksgiving when he stopped eating for a few days, but I truly think that he simply wasn’t ready to stop being a house cat again, so he started eating. He’s been doing pretty good till 2 days ago, when he stopped eating again, and began to hide under the bed which was very unusual for him. He would always be on me when I was on the couch, and he could sleep right up next to me at night for warmth. (No fur!!) So I had to take him to the vet yesterday morning and help him cross over. I found out he was bleeding internally, probably from cancer so I made the right call. Thank you Rudy, for being my cat and I’m sorry you couldn’t have been a house cat your entire life. You were so sweet and so loving. I know you are in a big cozy comfy warm house now. I miss you!
