A dozen years ago my wife and I were in Alaska. We got a picture of a pickup truck that was covered completely in silver duct tape.

I don’t understand, if the carriage is made of wood and the wheels are of duct tape, why was the Wiz using the torch?

I once saw a guy try this on his ultralight aircraft only to have it crash at the side of the runway. Only injurys were to the aircraft and his pride.

It will probably last longer than you’d think. I once fashioned a door pull for an unnecessary heavy steel door which lasted for 12 years under everyday use. It was never expected to be a permanent solution but no one ever fixed it right until the door was replaced.

I was behind a pickup truck and he had one tire completely covered with duct tape. Hope he made it to the tire store.

Wheels? No.Tires, yes, for a while. But the ride is rough, and it takes a heck of a lot of rolls of duct tape.

For years I thought it was called DUCK tape and thought, “why would you want to tape a duck, its a fallacy about the echo thing”.

The torch was used to fuse the tape together for a more secure tire! Hope they stick!

Duct Tape, WD 40 (you can thank me later, Gary), bailing wire and vice grips will fix anything.

It’s not only Red Green approved, it’s NASA approved too. The ISS carries several rolls in stock for emergency situations. When a Soyuz capsule docked to the ISS sprung a leak it was sealed with duct tape. Also duct tape helped save the lives of the Apollo 13 astronauts and the moon buggy on Apollo 17 needed duct tape to secure one of the fenders to keep the moon dust from getting all over the astronauts and one more example Adam and Jamie of Mythbusters fame came up with a duct tape ball for a game to play on the ISS.

If they fail, use duct tape to fix them.

Duct tape didn’t work in the freezer, to hold a shelf bar do-thingy in place but a zip tie and a cordless drill did the trick. 3 holes and zip!
