I get amazed at how many times Sarah’s work is so, so, so very relatable to my own emotional construct. In this case, the must stronger obsession to emulate (or at least try to become more like) the “cool” person is a reflection of our own inner insecurities.
The emotional attraction for a partner, while strong, is often far easier to keep in a less obsessed contextual framework in day-to-day life.
