Dictatorships have a way of stamping out socialism.

Regardless of what they call it, Venezuala’s current government is a kleptocracy.

“Socialism” is the new buzzword from the right. They used “Liberal” as a negative for so long they felt the need to refresh their marketing.

I heard someone say that what they have in Scandinavia and most of Europe isn’t really socialism. Fine. Whatever you want to call it, THAT’s what we want.

I won’t want to get into the whole “define socialism” discussion (man is that deep), but wanted to post I’m sad about the people of Venezuela and what’s happening to them. I wish there was more that could be done to help them.
