According to the Chip and all the conserves who are terrified of “socialism” the next to fall will be Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Canada, The UK,…
I heard someone say that what they have in Scandinavia and most of Europe isn’t really socialism. Fine. Whatever you want to call it, THAT’s what we want.
People keep confusing economic systems and types of government. Democracy over totalitarianism first, economics second. For a look at pure capitalism, check out big pharma.
I won’t want to get into the whole “define socialism” discussion (man is that deep), but wanted to post I’m sad about the people of Venezuela and what’s happening to them. I wish there was more that could be done to help them.

“Socialism” is the new buzzword from the right. They used “Liberal” as a negative for so long they felt the need to refresh their marketing.

I’m curious. Who gives these right wingnut ’toonists their marching orders? They do seem to be synchronized to spread the same lies on any given day.

Venezuela is a corrupt dictatorship. It isn’t socialist… Don’t let the facts get in the way of your opinion.

Is it in darkness? Yes, the power’s out. But the strobelight of the media is full on them…

Socialism will never die as long as there are power hungry hucksters and young fools willing to believe.

Actually, Socialism is alive and well. The death in Venezuela is that of a despot exposed to the light.
