Are you saying there’s no bright side to Venezuela socialism, because there’s no such thing as Venezuela socialism?

Venezuela is not a socialist state at this point. Nor communist: Kleptocracy.

Nobody here wants what they have in Venezuela. We want what they have in Scandanavia and the rest of Europe.

Actually, we seem to be heading in the other direction …

    " …

The majority of America’s new energy capacity additions in 2019 will come from renewable energy sources, according to figures published by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

The agency estimates that 23.7GW will be added to the US electric power sector, with 64% of this coming from wind and solar power, and that 8.3GW of energy will be retired in 2019, with more than half of the scheduled retirements coming from coal.

I thought it was a great example of Voter Fraud. Or dictatorship or the result of the cult of personality. There are plenty of things to blame Venezuela’s failure on besides socialism.

This isn’t even the first time you’ve used a blank cartoon

using Venezuela to say “all socialism is bad” is like using this cartoon to say “all editorial cartoons are bad”

Better be a lesson to America here on how easy it is to plunge a nation into darkness. A capacity your enemies evidently have.

The Koch’s are causing economic disruptions and government confusion to gain oil refinery rights for their refineries which are suited for refining the heavy crude.

Would this be in reference to the black outs/ lack of power in Venezuela? Have you heard of this place called “Puerto Rico”? Its part of the U.S. . They went without power for months. So would you list their “president” as a socialist too?

One really has to wonder if Gorrell actually believes this drivel or is just doing it for the paycheck from the RNC and all the attention (albeit most of it negative) he receives. A cartoon spewing version of tRump.

What utter nonsense. My ignorant, backwards, illiterate neighbor can’t drive because he’s a drunk. Does this mean we need to ban alcohol again?

Anyone that thinks that Socialism the cause of all the problems in Venezuela needs to take a step back and take another sober look at the real world.

Here’s a Socialist country which seems to be doing fairly well for itself: Vietnam. It doesn’t have nearly the oil reserves (only 4.4 Gigabarrels) that Venez has, and yet it’s economy is on a strong, steady uphill climb. It’s proportion of the World’s total GDP has doubled since 1990. Vietnam continues to modernize and improve and grow at a well-managed pace.

Apparently, being a Socialist country with a Communist past doesn’t kill a country’s economy.
