    I never have a problem threading a needle. But sometimes I have a problem threading a needle threader.

    We learned how to do that back in Basic Training. The tip is to take the 1" end of the thread, fold it in half, moisten it, and boom! Guide it right through the needle eye. Hand sewing patches on a military uniform, though, that was a challenge…

    If he’s using the method illustrated in the art, it’s no wonder he can’t thread a needle. The method shown works fine only if your “thread” is wire.
