The fringes of society are and always will be [on purpose & by definition] an anathema to some 8 out of 10 ordinary people. Included in the fringe population are geniuses, visionaries, anarchists, radicals, saints, and good old fashioned lunatics.
Using the “fringe people” to smear the rest of us is the oldest propaganda trick in the book. At some point nearly all organized groups have used this tactic to label & classify all of their opponents as dangerous extremists.
The self-apparent reality that all individuals are different and unique from others [so easy to understand that even cave dwellers probably grasped it] may or may not emerge victorious from the disastrous cautionary tale all-or-nothing us-or-them no compromise! Trump era.
It sure doesn’t help matters that Mr. Trump’s hard core worshipers love him for his fringe tactics and constantly reinforced self-described view of 100% Trump-is-right 24/7 – 365 now and forever and all opposition is 100% wrong and the enemy of all right thinking people.
