And the failure to control emissions, i.e. real pollutants, will devastate the world. Is this the old “I’d rather you die than that I pay more taxes” meme from the Right? Pathetic.

Conservatives continue to impotently bark at their concepts of Liberal ideology, happily ignorant about every single thing they are barking about.

Bought right into the bulldroppings from the Right, didn’t you, Ariail? Turn off FAUX Noise and look for THE TRUTH for a change.

NO ONE has said ANYTHING about “Banning Cars and Planes”, or “Banning Beef”.

God forbid US citizens have healthcare, financial opportunities for a better life, clean air and water, free of systematic bigotry, educational opportunities, free from crushing debt, etc. Better to go with the Republicans endless war, crushing taxes on the majority, no healthcare, no education, indentured servitude, and only the upper one percent having a chance at a decent, stable life.

Mr. Arial I did not expect this kind of misleading and incorrect right wing babel from you. You know perfectly well that AOC doesn’t advocate banning cars, planes or beef and that the 70% tax applies to less than 1% of the population.

Sometimes people seem to forget that we still have (for the most part) three separate branches of government. Any radical changes or laws will be difficult at best.

AOC doesn’t look anything like that in real life. That caricature looks like someone else’s grandmother.

Lets take those banners in order:

Medicare for all: True The right wing Koch brothers hired experts to show that this would be costly. The experts found that it would save $billions for society over the course of a decade. Of course, it would not serve to enrich the very rich, so it’s bad.

Ban cars and planes: A lie If you read the bill really closely, you will find that the suggestion is to create much more efficient transportation, not ban existing things. Well okay, if you read it at all.

70% tax rate: Partly true Like it was in the Eisenhower administration. And do bear in mind that this is the suggested tax rate only on the amount of earning that exceeds $10 million per year. Do you think that you could live on 30% of the amount over $10 million that you earned in a year? (30% of only $1,000,000 is $300,000). The tax rate is less on everything you earn up to that cut off. Similar to how it’s done now, but with bigger numbers.

Ban beef: A lie Again, they’re talking about making beef more expensive, not banning it, by requiring beef producers to do some things to reduce the carbon impact of their operations. They actually believe in market forces (imagine that!). PS: They also want the same requirements for dairy operations.

Living wage for all: True Think for a moment about what it would mean if you oppose this. Okay, time’s up: Do you really think it is better for people to be on the dole than to have a job that pays enough to live on? Why?

Free college: Partly true What they are suggesting is that we should spend money on things that enhance the lives of our citizens. All of them. College tuition would come under government control for some colleges (presumably the state college and state university for each state). Want a degree from Hahvahd? Pay up. Want a degree that testifies to your ability to get good grades? Go to State U. Oh and, you’re probably liable to repay t

Stinky republicans ran the deficit up to 22 trillion and now they declare a deficit emergency.

No green money, your taxes go to repay republican debt.

These social goals proposed by Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and others are not laws. They are things that we can do. When Congress proposed a trillion dollar tax cut for the wealthy, none of you trump minions (I like that word :>) asked how would we ever pay for it. Where was your conservative bent then? You are as phony as you are ignorant. Ignorant, not stupid. Ignorance can be cured with a little effort to look into some of the things we face as a nation, not as political parties. Stupid will be a little more difficult.

Apparently, the best way to defeat your opponents these days is to lie, lie, lie about them.

I think the word “democratic”, in panel two, can be eliminated without loss of meaning.
