Hey – I resemble that remark. It was sunny here ln Seattle (actually Everett) for about a half hour today.

Hey, let’s not badmouth renewables. They have their place.

I like the double dig at liberal Seattle and, well, just Seattle. The only problem is, they wouldn’t execute a prisoner.

Shoe is the only strip I can think of that is as fun and edgy after the loss of the creator as it was before.

Shocking.

Sure and swift justice, northwest coast style.

Slow burn.

But, the bluest skies you’ve ever seen are in Seattle ….

Spent the first 25 years of my life in Seattle – not going back….finally scraped most of the moss off….

Back in the early 80s my best friend got hired by the FAA and moved to Seattle and a year later I got hired to work in Burbank, CA. He was always trying to get me to move up there. When I told him that I couldn’t handle the constant grey skies and rain he said “But in summer it’s beautiful here!” I asked him “But what if I have to work that day?!!”

Years later on another visit, during one of those absolutely beautiful days, I said “It’s too bad it’s not like this up here all the time.” His response, “If it was like this up here all the time it wouldn’t be like this up here!” Like they say – no pain, no gain.

About as useful as a solar-powered submarine.

What a coincidence, my Godfather’s name ends with an ‘i’ too.

Seattle is a “green” city.

People in Seattle don’t tan, they rust.

I’m in Oregon. Had to swim to my computer and scrape the mold off to respond…

As a resident of Seattle, I resemble that remark!

Hoops – I see someone else beat me to the punchline.

And, yep – it was that half hour of sunshine that finally did Dougie Boy in.

Since I escaped to Vegas from a snowstorm in Portland, I’m laughing.
