I have no problem if people want to kill themselves; but I get riled up when they make matters worse for others.

Meanwhile, I’m wondering when will the anti-abortion groups lead a pro-vaccination rally.

I had the measles when I was a kid. So did all my friends. We had the chicken pox also and we all made it fine and never had them again. This crap is another way of dividing an already divided country.

I would only note here that one of the areas the Russians have been busily interfering with America on over the decades was to support the argument of the “anti-vaxxers” in American social media. The Russians love to encourage American stupidity – after all, they helped elect Donnie John.

Incidentally the term “anti-vaxxer” is only the latest term used to describe these people – I believe the original term applied was “Luddite” hundreds of years ago. Their attack focus changes but THEY haven’t changed all that much. Really!

Measles still kills tens of thousands around the world each year. Mostly children. Before vaccines were developed that figure was in the millions.

Whenever the lottery gets big, I ask folks whether they’ve paid their innumeracy tax by buying a ticket. My friends get the joke, but an appalling number of people pay the tax anyway.

As for anti-vax: I don’t give a passing fart in a high wind whether you pay the price for your self centered stupidity, but when you put at risk other people who actually cannot be vaccinated, you should spend some time in jail and then doing community service.

They vaccinate their pets but not their children. Where did such a ridiculous idea come from? I think it has to do with some Christian cult. Probably a faith healer.
