While Trump is building walls to keep people out and developing coal mines (next comes buggy whips), Xi Jinping of China is building bridges to nations of Africa, investing in developing their natural resources in win-win relationships that enrich both countries and is rapidly outpacing the United States in solar and other forms of clean, renewable energy and the development of electric vehicles.

Thank you, Trumpers. You have taken a nation that was leading the world in technology, energy and international development and let a nation that was far behind rapidly pass us by.

It is almost like another foreign power was calling the shots. DAMN YOU, PUTIN!

Well, she DID manage to get the Great Wall of China torn down and reassembled in a matter of days.

    As far as Mao knew.

A white haired Honey? Yep, this script is beginning to wrap things up. My guess is Trudeau will probably end “Doonesbury” sometime towards the end of 2020.

Nations follow the money , and today China have a big global plan and many many money . I don’t know if it will enrich both sides as DDWiz wrote . For sure they are tryng to replace USA from the leading role and Europeans needs new investiment sources : i.e. China bought part of Pireo port in Greece and they began to talk with our Italian politicians and other countries in the old continent .

As our ancestors said carpe diem

The problem with BRI is that China will reap the benefits plus take a lot of the countries resources leaving very little for the country. Sri Lanka for example.

Note the Tonga zinger. This top level domain will now be the cleanest channel on Earth, or shut off completely depending on the whim of the party.

I’m not sure all the 68 “partner countries” are willing partners. China’s plans of world domination are far more chilling and serious than those of the US or others in the (distant?) past.

And when the trumpers realize what they’ve set in motion, it’ll be too late to change it……the rest of the world has figured out how to turn American greed and capitalism against us….and we paid them to do it

Yup, we are leaving a vacuum of leadership and development and the Chinese are stepping in and growing in power, prestige and influence. All this in a few decades and relatively peacefully. They did not conquer their market. They were invited in. I guess this is what happens when Communism turns on the capitalism faucet.

The great sucking sound you hear, is China accruing the rest of the world’s natural resources. Their global economic avarice is unparalleled. Their influence and imprint is everywhere, particularly in Africa, Central and South America and wherever there are minerals and other resources to be exploited.

The great gurgling noise you hear is the United States being flushed down the toilet by the Orange Emperor and his minions.

Suprised that Trudeau would openly support communist Chinese imperialism. Oh, wait, no I am not. He has always suported global government under collectivist. autocrats. He just pretends he is about peace and love when, in the end he is really about peace imposed under the dictators he prefers.

Among other things, China now has about 100 Different companies building various types of Electric Vehicles.

And manufacturing Solar & Wind power generators.

They have made commitments to purchase almost 80% of the World’s raw materials needed to manufacture high energy density Batteries.

And, as mentioned earlier, they are making deals to purchase massive amounts of Food crops as Climate Change makes growing crops more and more difficult.
