I know it’s only a comic, but this genuinely makes me feel sad. It’s bad enough that people keep birds captive, but it’s even worse with parrots, a class of bird that tends to be highly social in nature, develops strong bonds and, on average, lives many decades.
Creator Dave — maybe you should include a handle on the coffee mug. Otherwise it could be mistaken for a roll of toilet paper. This would tell us a lot about the poor soul on the couch.
