Yeah… Blame technology. Ponder this, I bet if we spent 10-15% of what we do on cosmetics (male as well as female) and on pets (the foo-foo stuff like cutsie poo sweaters and gourmet food for the gerbil) we could put a great big ol’ dent in child poverty. But that’s not sexy.
