now what would motivate Odie to do that if this were a “Garfield Minus Garfield”?

Odie’s tongue makes for a good lasso.

From where they are standing, Odie’s tongue should wrap around him anti-clockwise.

I never understood why Jon just lets his pets stand on top of his kitchen table.

Jon got your tongue, Odie?

Whiplash meets tongue-lash.

I don’t know why, but I have this weird liking for flexible tongues in cartoons. No, it’s not my MOST favorite trope, but still.

A real tongue twister there Jon.

He said “Look, Odie”, not “Lick, Odie”.

jon might need a new scraf cause Garfield might consider his current one nerdy

Odie, the Frog-Dog creature from outer space, folks. He catches and eats flies with his loong tongue.

the only thing missing is another panel with a visual whiplash sound!

All I can think is “dog breath!”.

Hope Odie has not just finished licking his butt.

Odie has no control over where his tongue goes. However he is now going to retract his tongue. My question is will that spin Jon’s head like a top. Come-on do it, I wanna watch.
