Guess they’ll have to switch the controls over to manual, see if they can save themselves.
Actually, I DO want to see that, if only to see Bishop’s face when he realizes just how hosed he is at that point.
His plot has already happened. Electronics mongers offer highly intrusive devices that monitor people and control them, and people line up to buy them.
What a horrible man!
But that’s how the Soviet cosmonauts survived crash-landing their space capsules!
Of course, the cosmonauts had parachutes. Jumping with a parachute is not just plain jumping.
