better put it into your “cleaning rags” box, madam, afore he asks where that favourite shirt is

And ain’t THAT the truth! Hubby wears some of the grungiest shirts. And if he gets new T-shirts, he’ll wear the newest one to do some messy job.

I have old clothes set aside for major auto repairs and painting projects. If I ever get the contract to paint the Golden Gate Bridge, I’m set.

Besides my collection of painting clothes, I have several shirts that can only be worn under a sweater.

Put it in the rags box. It’s only a concert T-shirt. The one he’s worn at every concert he’s seen since 1965. And has autographs from every musician. He won’t miss it and it’s not worth anything…

for rags I cut off the sleeves and neckline and use just the belly and back.

I had so many T-shirts from my younger days, that I rotate boxes of them to even out the wear.

The “comfortable” t-shirts have the propensity to be pulled apart by my wife. That’s why I usually try to fold my own.

Simple solution. Cut the rags into pieces.

My wife dedicated this one to me. I am down to three “around the house” long-sleeve shirts; a nice supply of “too nice for every day”.
