Trump’s “war against intelligence” is much more than mere stupidity; it is Trump dancing to every yank of Putin’s puppet strings, or the Trump dummy appearing to speak the words of ventriloquist Putin.
This war against intelligence is being waged on multiple levels:
Ridiculing and disregarding info from his own intelligence agencies led by his hand-picked appointees (“I have the best people…”) and repeatedly making public statements that he trusts his puppetmaster Vladimir Putin more than his own intelligence agencies.
Betraying intelligence agencies by GAVING CLASSIFIED TOP SECRET INTELLIGENCE TO THE RUSSIANS (Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov [counterpart to our Secretary of State] and Ambassador to the U.S. Sergei Kislyak) … IN THE OVAL OFFICE. (Trying to decide which defiles the Oval Office more … oral sex with a consenting adult or GIVING CLASSIFIED TOP SECRETS TO A HOSTILE FOREIGN ADVERSARY.)
War against facts, truth, education, science and reality — the aspects of life we associate with “intelligence” outside the world of law enforcement, international intrigue and government secrets — because TrumpubliCONs depend on keeping people stupid enough and gullible enough to keep voting for them. “I love uneducated people.”
And someone who is going to disparage intelligence but can’t use the correct form of there / their has made their own case on which they are convicted on the charge of abject hypocritical ignorance.
What do you expect? He listens to Fox Noise, where yesterday two of their commentators wondered how people can heat their houses in this extreme cold by using solar panels and wind power! Stupid is as stupid does. And plenty of Trumpettes actually believe this swill.
In a recent interview, Trump claimed that the intelligence community got it wrong when we were building the case for the second invasion of Iraq. I disagree. It was the Bush/Cheney admin that created that drama. Including discrediting Wilson’s report on yellow cake uranium and ordering Powell to give his speech to the UN in spite of the NRC engineers telling him the science that he was presenting to the world was false.

In the interest of science, we should encourage Bonespurs and his supporters to win Darwin Awards, they seem good for it.

How is it that Trump knows all the American government intelligence is “wrong”?
What, exactly, is his alternated source of information?

Trump doesn’t bother with intelligence reports or press conferences.
It’s Trump vs everyone else in the world.
Trump has to go.
