Ten’s of thousands of intel people gather and assess info from around the world daily to protect the U.S. Where does Trump get his intelligence from? Info Wars? Faux News? Ann Coulter? I think I answered my own question.
Donald John Trump has just called the assembled Intelligence Chiefs, appointed by him, ignorant and naive. He did this because they had the temerity to ’contradict him on several points of “Threats to the United States”
The testimony before Congress was delivered by heads of the various departments charged with keeping America safe and the President advised of all threats.
They were quoting from the Intelligence Assessment produced by the combined knowledge of hundreds if not thousands of intelligence gatherers world wide!
Donnie John refuses to listen to them because what they presented before Congress does not “match” his own perception of the threats America faces. One may only hypothesize as to where Donnie John gets HIS intelligence information, but Sean Hannity, Vladimir Putin and “Fox & Friends” are ALL likely possibilities!
Does ANYONE who ‘supports’ Donald John Trump understand how utterly DANGEROUS this can become in a case of REAL threat?
Trump likes to cast himself as “the World’s Greatest Authority” just like Professor" Irwin Corey used to do. the main difference between the “Professor” and Donnie John is that while Corey played his “assumed” knowledge for laughs, Donnie John wants to be taken quite seriously – which makes Donnie’s “act” even funnier, if not orders of magnitude more dangerous, to our country.
@coopersdad: One hypothesis: Because Americans by and large no longer engage in critical thinking they assumed that DT would grow into the job. They believed, the evidence of his entire course of life to the contrary, that Trump 1. recognized responsibility to anyone other than himself; 2. that he would learn what he did not know; 3. that he, like his predecessors, would take the advice of professionals around him on highly sensitive, even dangerous, matters; 4. that he cared about anything other than his own personal business; 5. that he had a conscience; and 6. that his tether to reality was not made of smoke. What’s astonishing about this is that even the political professionals in DC went forward for the longest time on this idea. It’s not hard to figure out, folks, and you don’t have to worry about hurting his feelings: The man is a sociopath. You’re welcome.
My first military job was in communications intelligence (cue the oxymoron joke). I can assure you that NSA and other agencies are pretty good at what they do. Nevertheless, Trump’s reaction to their recent testimony in front of congress combined with his secret meetings with Putin are outrageous. Trump is either a traitor (others citizens have sold out the US for blackmail or monetary gain), monumentally stupid, or both. Come on Trump supporters, change my mind with your evidence to the contrary.
Trump is treating the knowledge of tens of thousands of intelligence experts the same way he is treating the knowledge of tens of thousands of climate scientists.

I can’t see any reason for anything that implies ‘intelligence’ being anywhere near the word ‘trump’
