I knew a thousand excuses for not doing my homework. If there were a thousand-and-one, I didn’t know about it.
How about “Because I have a REAL life outside of school and DON’T have six hours a night to waste doing your stupid common core worksheets and problems!”
I have a godfather in Chicago who says I do not need an excuse.
