Yea, I got it right!

Over in Massachusetts, they make you solve the problem of how to pay for universal healthcare without raising taxes. Even the people who leave on vacation can’t get back in.

I can solve the problem, but I have no desire to enter New York State! :-)

Great cartoon, but it totally ignores NY’s approach to improving education. Throw more money at it. Doesn’t matter that they’ve been doing that for over 50 years and the results just keep getting worse.

The problem is that there are two correct answers: 4 and -4, because if you multiply either of them by themselves you get 16. A better formula would have been: (2x^2+x+3)/3=13. Then the only correct answer would be 4.

They must have had this test after they let Shumer in?

Oops! +/-4 is indeed correct as x^2=16

I totally suck at math (algebra in particular), and could care less about going to New York… but when I figured out that X = 4, I was beyond ecstatic with myself. More like “Holy sh*t, I actually solved this! My brain does still function sometimes!” :-D

Over half the country would have to stay home. Next question- name your Federal Senators and representative. Duh……

So many things one could say about a wall and border with this cartoon but then that would just start a brouhaha about Trump.

90% of New Yorkers wouldn’t be allowed to return.

That was reaching way back for me, but I did it! I work for the government – I’m not used to thinking! (just kidding, but I haven’t had to do that kind of math for a while)

I Did not like algebra when I was in 9th grade 55 years ago but I did solve this . And now I would like to take all or most of my math classes again . Not sur I went about it correctly but I did check my work. LOL

Also no room for pro-life or pro-gun advocates.
