Calls to mind the death of Aeschylus, the great playwright of ancient Greece.

Valerius Maximus wrote that Aeschylus was killed by a tortoise dropped by an eagle.

Legend has it that his death by “falling object” on a certain day had been prophesied by an oracle. He sought to defy the Fates by spending that day relaxing in an empty field. But the bird of destiny had him in its sites.

I have to click on ordinary Bill every day even though it runs a new strip 3-4 times a week because you never know, you know. Yeah I know about the white line around the icon above but even that isn’t always clear. But I can always count on Wallace the Brave everyday by the same cartoonist an Wallace is excellent as is Will Henry.

I’ve seen gulls do this, but they carry the clam in their bill.
