“A shutdown falls on the president’s lack of leadership. I mean problems start from the top and they have to get solved from the top. A shutdown means the president is weak,” said Donald Trump in 2013.
Kamala Harris may be the answer to Trump we are looking for. She was a tough prosecutor. Also, we are coming upon the 100th anniversary of women having the right to vote!
The shutdown was a demand for unconditional surrender. Unfortunately for him, the president lacks the political realism to recognize that he doesn’t have the clout to impose that surrender. He’s the one who will now have to climb down, and very soon, probably within days. The end of a hostage taking is not a surrender. But it will surely feel that way to the hostage taker—and deservedly, too.
I believe that the resident sets a perfect example of all the attributes we should screen out when choosing a presidential candidate for election in a constitutional democratic republic.

Long ago there were these buildings called “outhouses” that might have one to three seats over a hole in the ground. That would be a perfect new residence for tRump and his cohorts…..under the seats, I mean!

Trump’s content would indicate a toilet, not a trash can!

There should be a bio-hazard symbol on that can.

Trump’s content reads like a police arrest record.

We’re all assuming that’s Trump in that garbage can. Interesting legacy you’re building, Mr. “President.”

The trash collectors’ union would have something to say about this. “There are some things that trash collectors just don’t do.”

Some things weren’t meant to be recycled, like Hannity, Limbaugh and Coulter. But that’s what we have for a President… time for the landfill.

The problem is there are those who either ignore or accept or like his values.
