Wahabi. When modern Saudi Arabia was founded after WW1 the installed “Royalty” worked with very conservative Wahabi sect of Islam for their support which continues to this day.
Is the strong belief in government austerity, zero-tolerance, homophobia, xenophobia, etc — seen in representatives the evangelicals elect — inspired by the American evangelical sect’s emulation of the Saudi Arabian Wahabi sect?
Saw a 60 minutes report sunday on Saudi Arabia on the crown prince and they covered the murder of the reporter. One very interesting thing about the report was that the crown prince is extremely liked, positive 90%. Here is a New Yorker article that acknowledges his popularity prior to the murder. It then goes on to western SPECULATION of how this will affect the crown prince, but puts out no facts. This is a problem with the modern press, way too much speculation and lack of facts. By doing this are they trying to influence the public to their way of thinking? : https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/can-saudi-arabias-crown-prince-mohammed-bin-salman-survive-the-jamal-khashoggi-murder

Just think how the world would change if half the women in SA killed their husbands in their sleep.

Well, Saudi Arabia does want to keep things as they were in the seventh century. Looks like it’s succeeding.
