I was thinking about something more nut-ritious.

Have you got anything without nuts?

Well, there’s nuts, eggs, sausage and nuts That’s not got much nuts in it.

Such a limited menu – they have almost nut-thing!!

That menu is just plain nuts!

You know, “Nuts” used to be an insult of sorts – if someone asked you a question and you said “Nuts”, they would be offended. There is a famous case from World War 2 when the Germans asked for surrounded Americans to surrender, and the US commander replied “NUTS!”

Do you have any coffee other than Chock full o’nuts?

Waitress’s name is Meg.

I’m getting hungry. Here, the issue is nuts. Over at American Chop Suey the issue is pizza. And I haven’t even had coffee.

Charley Brown must own that restaurant! And all of his workers work for …well, you know!

Why don’t you just eat at the bar?

Let’s see. There are peanuts, pecans, filberts, and brazil nuts just for a beginning. It’s a long list.

This is why squirrels don’t make good food snobs. They can’t order anything that’s not on the menu.

I would prefer soup to nuts…
