Trump is throwing a tantrum until he gets his monument to his ego. The Democrats have passed bills to open the individual government departments that have nothing to do with immigration, border security or a wall. But Trump said he has to keep them closed and hold them hostage or else, “You won’t give me what I want.” His exact words. Just like the spoiled little man-baby he is.
The shutdown is 100% Trump’s fault. Continuing the shutdown is Trump and McConnell’s fault, since McConnell refuses to bring the Democratic bills to the floor, because he knows they would pass. Again. Last time he voted on it, they passed UNANIMOUSLY on a voice vote.
They previously had a deal which the Senate passed unanimously.
Trump had even agreed to the deal.
But then, boo hoo, wacko extremist right-wing rabble rousers (Limbaugh, Ingraham, Coulter, Fox & friends) scolded him and he gave in like a little baby and Paul Ryan surrendered his supposedly separate and co-equal House (along with whatever is left of his balls) to the Trump tantrum. We now have a presidency run by talk show terrorists.
Trump said he would be “proud” to shut down the government.
Trump said he would not blame the Democrats.
Trump said (before becoming president) that shutdowns are always the fault of the president.
Trump’s party controlled the presidency, House and Senate when the Shutdown began.
THat’ll be Trump be doing the same thing after the 2020 election when he loses, if he even lasts that long! What’s next with this idiot, a northern wall for Canada?
