Things that no longer happen in the days of flatscreen TVs.
I remember when our VCR broke down years back. The guy called me and said, “The works are full of what looks like tiny white feathers or something. Any idea what it could be?” I replied, “Could it be cat hair?” “Yeah, it could.” Turns out our albino cat was spending time sitting on top of the VCR while we were at work, because it was warm!
This reminded me (indirectly) of a friend’s cat, a number of years ago. We were watching an auto race and the cat was trying to catch the racers as they left the end of the screen.

I still remember those good old days.

To make this picture complete, the tail would be waving back and forth, blocking the screen.

We has a cat that would do this, except her tail would hang down in front of the screen. We called it tailavision.

My brother had a pet iguana that would sit like this on one of his CRT computer monitors. He referred to the beast as his monitor lizard.

There’s always the cable box, it’s nice and warm, cat size too.

I had a cat who would hang over the top of the tv and bat her paws at the action..

Fortunately, my LED screen beams infra-red along with visible light so my cat watches television from my lap now, instead from on top of the set.

I had that exact model RCA TV! And I used my Air Blaster to get the cat off instead of the usual spray bottle.

What are those funny, primitive things on the front of the TV? Aren’t they called die-alls?
