I don’t get all the negative comments about The Cure!
They do like weird imagery… Robert Smith’s hair being a case in point… LOL… and sometimes deep lyrics…
But their sound, in a way, is more like late 70’s psychedelic rock than heavy metal or punk.
A very listenable, danceable band… It’s likeable music.
