A wall between Trump’s ears? More like nothing there — hollow all the way through. That is the only way in which Trump could claim to have an “open mind.”
He’s the living embodiment of narcissistic personality disorder and the Dunning-Kruger Effect. Why would he listen to anyone else when he obviously knows better than everyone.
I thought for sure there would turn out to be somebody, some voice of reason, perhaps his wife or daughter, who could get him to come around to common sense about some things. Apparently there is nobody at all.
Trumpettes posting their love of term limits on FB because Cruz, Rubio and Lee decided that the shutdown was a great opportunity to promote them. When I told one that people should be able to keep their representatives if they like the job they’re doing, he asked about presidential term limits. I said there shouldn’t be a limit because then we would still have Obama as president. The Trumpette believes that Trump would have beaten Obama. They live in a different reality.
No wall has been effective, in recent times in keeping people out of a nation, if they want to get in. How will this wall be different? Since the great recession, the largest increase of illegal immigrants have been those overstaying work and student visas? How will the wall stop this?
Do you know what a “rube-lube” is? Okay, you probably know the term “gold nose hair trimmer” which is applied by direct marketers in relation to groups of people who can be sold anything. For a long time that list was headed by groups such as retired LDS members. Recently, a new group took over as the easiest group for direct marketers to sell, and then that group itself was refined. The group is Trump supporters, and the refined and even more easily sold group is Trump supporters who donated to his campaign. Since Trump’s campaign management announced it was selling the list of donors (though I suspect not of major donors) the direct marketing industry has gotten to provide those individuals will all those unrequested phone calls and emails that we all love and desire (“koff, glatch”). In the direct marketing industry the quaint term “rubes” has been revised to be shorthand for those targets, and among some people there is an emerging term “rube-lube” as in “It is unclear how many networks will be preempting shows at 9pm eastern tonight for the rube-lube, vs. editing for relevant sections to use as alerts or in their nightly news."

WHY should he listen to anyone else? He’s a stable genius, after all.
Anyone who has to tell us how much a genius he is, isn’t.
