Some discipline morality and principles would seem to be a good thing.

Hmmm, let’s see. For the past week, Republicans have been trying their best to denigrate and mock Pelosi, Warren, and Ocasio-Cortez. Do I sense a theme here? Wow, they really hate (and fear) women! Even the female cartoonists! How sad is that?

2019 is getting off to an interesting start and feel it will get even more exciting as the year progresses! Bet Nancy could float right over any imaginary wall the president demands. Do we need better border security and better immigration laws – yes! Building a big concrete wall is not the solution, especially when US taxpayers would have to pay for it when we were told Mexico would pay. The new congress is not the answer to all our problems but at least it’s a start in the right direction to make America great again (does that sound vaguely familiar?)

I suppose it’s another step towards real equality when lazy female cartoonists feel free to use the same tired sexist stereotypes that lazy male cartoonists have used for decades

Government should protect the environment, build and maintain infrastructure, and support everyone;s ability to obtain an education, housing, food and healthcare. Regulations are needed because it has been proven that corporations do what is best for them without regard to long-term effects. They don’t even look to protect their own futures – the execs look quarter-to-quarter until they can leave with their golden parachute.

Tell you what Lisa, supply your own water, security, etc., look out for yourself in any business transactions, avoid using highways, going to national parks or using anything supported by the “nanny government”.

We don’t need a woman in the White House. We need a person who has Elizabeth Warren’s attitude that she is a daughter of the middle class and fighting for them. And, we need someone who has the intelligence and education to take on an establishment that is rigged to benefit the rich. The fact that the person who best meets that criteria happens to be a female is irrelevant. I have already established a monthly donation through Act Blue to her campaign and urge everyone else to do the same. If it matters to you that she’s a woman, fine with me. I want her to be president because no one else comes close to promising to be a great one. And, to be totally honest, I kind of like that she’s a woman, too. But, I would vote, work and donate to someone with her credentials without regard to any personal characteristics.

Ah! This comic is a representation of Liz Cheny’s nomination of Kevin McCarthy for Speaker. The way to understand this comic is to take it as the House’s Republican strategy.

The Republicans will be very lucky if they can make this stick. I think that they’ll be forced to address specific issues, like people losing protection for pre-existing conditions and executive branch corruption.

Once again poor Lisa gets it wrong: It’s the GOP that wants to do all the thinking for the country by telling women what they can – and can’t – do with their bodies, arranging voting districts so choice is not an option, denying climate changing as solutions are just so difficult, trying to repeal the ACA so that no one has to worry about health care and then there are the deficits that used to matter, but apparently not so much anymore.

The GOP prefers Putin. So far Trump and the Republican congress have carried out Putin’s agenda. Now you are afraid of Pelosi??

I find the hypocrisy of the Reps calling democrats “Nanny government” ridiculous, when they are the party that assumes the y have to dictate the behavior of the voting public—birth control, who you marry—so on. However if the GOP needs a Nanny—better start at the White House.
