Just when the current Luannaverse gets into cats, Luann Again gets into a…. cat fight.

A couple of good zingers Luann got at Tiffany!

Not a good idea to get Tiff to let you on the squad, Luann. Besides, aren’t there tryouts? If Tiffany is a judge, just fuggedaboudit.

According to etymonline.com, a pom-pom (what Tiffany said) is " ‘Maxim automatic gun,’ 1899, of imitative origin, soldiers’ slang from the Boer War", while a pompom (no hyphen) is " ‘ornamental round tuft’ (originally on a hat, etc.), 1748, alteration of pompon ‘ornamental tuft; tuft-like flower head,’ from French pompon (1725), of unknown origin; perhaps related to Old French pompe ‘pomp’ ".

So, is Tiffany saying that Luann doesn’t have any guns? And is Luann saying that Tiffany bought a pair of guns in the 3rd grade?
