I’ve read popcorn, as well as other things people normally feed birds like bits of bread aren’t good for them. They may even cause nutritional deficiencies leading to potentially lethal consequences. It’s better to feed them finely shredded or chopped kale, Swiss chard or romaine lettuce. Grains are also a good choice, even oatmeal. Your local pet store may have other suggestions, such as food pellets if feeding ducks and geese.
