Anubis, being a god of Egypt and being a dog would be affected by “sand fleas” but methinks “itch” or “scratching” would work better than “rash”

Ha. Ask any Marine who ever went through or served at Parris Island about sand fleas. Hated the little bastards crawling in your eyes, up your nose, flying in your ears, and swallowing them on runs.
