Tree stays up until 12th Night.

Or maybe March, depending on my mood. I often need a little Christmas, right that very minute.. and it’s easier if I leave the tree out.

Mind your seapersonship getting home tonight, crew!

Awwww….it had to come to this???? why not talk it over….hang up the stockings for one last night…..or two….or three…and then …shake hands and come out fighting. Leave the knives at home….just have fun..

Leave it up until it’s a fire hazard. Unless you have an artificial tree, in which case you have to draw a line someplace.

It only takes 2 days for a cut tree to be a fire hazard. Living in the Sierra Foothills it’s kind of stupid to get a cut x-mas tree. So, Being on a wooden ship is even worse. Get rid of the tree already!

Just leave it up until Christmas is over, which, depending on your denomination is either 5 January or 6 January.

Christmas day is only the FIRST day of the Christmas season (or for some denominations, Boxing day, 26 January, is the first day of the Christmas season.
