I was given a jack in the box in the mid 60s with Snoopy popping out. It played Doggy in the Window. I hated being startled (knowing it would eventually pop out made it worse) but I loved Snoopy’s smiling face. I usually left it open, sitting on the shelf in my room. I also learned you could play the song backward by turning the crank the other way.
