We had a dog who didn’t play fetch. If we threw a ball, he’d go after it, and pick it up. But, he wouldn’t return it. He wanted to play keep away. Another dog liked to grab one of our toys or something we were working with and then play keep away.
Our cat Rosie plays fetch with her pretzel toy. She has started trying to catch it in mid-air, as it flies over her head. Pretty funny.
