Childhood memories…shoveling looks pretty easy, till you have to do it yourself.

How did they flood this new “rink”? Doesn’t look close to a house that might have a hose….and assuming the hose isn’t frozen.

This was back when kids would put forth an effort to get something they wanted instead of expecting someone else to do it for them. Good ole Charlie Brown and gang!

Schulz actually built an ice arena in CA. His daughters became pro figure skaters.

oh I miss the days of going outside and finding a patch of ice and clearing it to skate on. Granted I wasn’t that big and neither was the “rink” but it was exciting in the imagination.

Woodstock’s Zamboni would come years later.

That looks like our rink when we were growing up.
